Transformations (2014)

In Transformations (2014), Doyle utilizes multiple exposures within a series of portraits to explore the concept of the transience of self and the multiplicity of one's identity. This concept reflects the understanding that an individual's personality develops over time and is consistently subject to change. These alterations can vary from very subtle, embedded changes, possibly in one's outlook or disposition, to those more drastic alterations to one's behavior. However, our present-mindedness continuously forgets this fact and we are constantly bewildered to find such change to occur.
